I just sent this query to IJ support:
"Hey,

I recently created this account for use in an RPG. I friended/watched the main communities (secrets_out, secretsout_ooc) and friended the other participants.

For a week or so, posts made in the other players' journals or in the main communities would show up on Flist like normal.

Then, suddenly, my flist was emtpy. The entries no longer showed up.

A new entry was posted in secrets_out the other day, and that one shows up.

Clearly, entries disappear from my Flist after a week or so. I remember this happening in another RPG I participated in on IJ.

Can this be fixed? Is it a bug? Why is it happening?

Do any of you recognise this problem? It's not just me, is it?

Man, I hate IJ. :(

	I can't say if it's just you, but I've never seen or heard of this bug before... Please don't hate on IJ :-( It makes me very sad. (Reply to this) (Thread)

This was the response:

"The most recent entries will appear on your friends page.

Anything farther back than 5-7 days will not appear on your friends page and you will have to go to each individual journal to read them.

The last entry in Secret's Out OOC is Aug. 23rd, 2009 which is more than 10 days. It will not appear on the friends page any more."

So, basically, it's just how they do things here. It's not even a bug. I'm guessing it has something to do with the server and storage.

	hugs It's okay. I know those "Argh! This is so annoying!" kind of responses. Like I said to someone on my flist (about something completely different) - we all need to vent. Oh! You know, now that you mention it, I think I remember something like that... but the game in question was so active I never noticed. I guess that's what we have tags and links for, then.
